Project Overview

Falcon Building Group were engaged to deliver a fitout of Viet Eat, a new Vietnamese restaurant located in Devonport’s city centre. The brief called for a fresh, functional space that could handle fast-paced service while making a bold visual statement. Working closely with the client, Falcon Building Group transformed the empty tenancy into a vibrant venue that blends efficient layout with a distinctive, modern design.

Timelines & Expectations

The project was delivered under a tight construction program with a confirmed opening date. With clear planning and close coordination between trades, Falcon Building Group ensured all elements – from kitchen infrastructure to signage, were installed and commissioned without delay.

Scope of Work

The goal was to create a space that supported high – volume takeaway while still offering a comfortable dining experience. The design needed to be hard wearing, visually appealing and optimised for smooth service flow.

The scope included:

• Full internal fit out of a vacant tenancy
• Installation of kitchen services and equipment
• Bespoke front counter and joinery
• Feature lighting and interior detailing
• External signage and branding
• Clean, minimal layout that supports operational efficiency
• Custom built service counter with illuminated signage
• Contemporary finishes with subtle pops of colour
• High-durability flooring and easy to clean surfaces

Challenges & Key Outcomes

With a compact footprint and detailed equipment requirements, the build required precise service coordination and a well-structured sequence of works. Falcon Building Group worked closely with suppliers to ensure all systems were installed to spec, and the space was handed over on time, ready for immediate trade.
